Runner’s Yoga workshop Saturday 25th June 12.00-14.00 cost £20.00 FLEET STUDIO: Fun workshop is designed for Runners of all abilities to help boost performance. Learn how Yoga compliments running by increasing your flexibility, eases old injuries and helps prevent new ones. You will also be given an exercise card with detailed Yoga poses to practice at home to continue your Yoga journey.
Back pain specific Yoga workshop Saturday 20th August 12.00-14.00 cost £20.00 FLEET STUDIO:
The two hour workshop will cover some of the most common reasons for back pain and focus on how Yoga can help to reduce pain and tension in the back, improve your posture, flexibility and strengthen the spine.
We will cover key Yoga poses, breaking each one down to give you a greater understanding of each pose, key alignment technique and why it’s of benefit. This will enable you to feel confident when you leave the workshop to practice the poses at home.

Surrey Cycling Sportive Sunday 14th August held at Surrey Sports Park, Guildford, GU2 7AD:
Enter either 119km (74 miles) 97km (60 miles) or 67km (41 miles) around the beautiful Surrey Hills.
This event is organised by Toby Jenkins from All About Triathlons and this year Cycle Works is the sponsor. Optimum Fitness will be offering FREE pre & post event massage & stretch, plus a stretching zone including use of foam rollers, mats, resistance bands & massage balls.
Cycle Works will be offering Mechanical support and exhibiting their SwiftCarbon brand.

Weight loss Package, Tuesdays 09.30-11.00 with Andrea Bremner, author of ‘Mind over Fatter’:
This class has been designed for the overweight, unfit beginner.
Our *NEW Weight Loss Package focuses on the mind as well as nutrition and activity.
The Package includes:
1. Boosting your metabolism with activities tailored to your ability
2. Nourishing your body with the right foods for weight loss
3. Re-programming your mind using tools and techniques of NLP
Each Weight Loss Package class lasts for 1.5 hours

* The second 45 minutes focuses on nutrition and the mind.
Probably the most important thing when it comes to losing weight and getting fitter and healthier is your mind and its relationship with food and exercise. This is where NLP comes in. NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP has some powerful tools which will enable you to change your behaviour. In the second half of the class, we will discuss eating habits and will work together to change bad habits, eradicate limiting beliefs, manage negative emotional eating and maintain motivation for the long-term.
